Responsible for providing staffing services for Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehab, Physical Therapy, and Support Staff for staff within Fairview Rehabilitation Services. This job requires the ability to handle multiple, conflicting priorities. The ability to multi-task, organize work and communicate in a clear and open style is critical for success in this position.
Responsible for processing and managing all staffing requests for time off, including but not limited to volume requests, open positions, LOAs, etc. based on established policies and procedures.
Handles day to day staffing needs and diverts staff based on patient volumes.
Responsible for creating and organizing weekend rotation for all sites for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Support Staff and Cardiac Rehab.
Responsible for tracking and providing appropriate staffing information as requested by managers and directors which details staffing profiles, trends, needs and demonstrates effective and efficient utilization of staff.
Creates and updates core staffing template in conjunctions with supervisors for all disciplines.
Understand staffing system and how it is used to creates monthly staff schedules timely and accurately for all services lines and at all sites and communicates with casual resources to fill requests.
Effectively and timely communicates with staff who request time to give them information about coverage.
Processes all staffing processes including trades, new hires, LOAs, template updates, open positions, etc.
Accurately inputs and updates staffing system with long term and day to day staffing changes.
Assigns flexible work force based on staffing guidelines and site needs for daily staffing to volume
Communicates effectively and timely via email and phone calls o recruit for coverage of all time off requests.
Creates, updates and directs bidding time off process and communicates with all staff. Processes all bidding requests, updates the staffing system and communicate with staff about their time off.
Facilitates monthly site staffing meetings at all sites for staffing changes and problem solving issues.
Updates staffing forms based on changes in the staffing office.
Effectively communicates, both verbally and non-verbally, with all managers, supervisors/seniors and staff to ensure that departmental staffing needs and expectations are met.
Responsible for communicating to site schedulers and supervisors for appropriateness of coverage for specialty caseloads
Work collaboratively with director to provide input about staffing needs for system resources for all disciplines including weekly schedule.
