Your day.

As a Physical Therapist, you need to know how to:

• Assist in the treatment of physical dysfunction or injury through the use of therapeutic exercise and the application of modalities with the purpose of restoring or facilitating normal function or development in the patient


• Evaluate patients, schedule and establish appropriate treatment goals and deliver skilled physical assessments and treatments effectively


• Delegate/supervise effectively within scope of authority to students, assistants and technicians


• Reassess patientâ™s progress, revise treatment plan and modify goals when appropriate


• Discharge patient when therapy services are no longer needed or beneficial


• Document assessments, discharge summaries and all daily treatments


• Design, explain and provide copy of discharge treatment and activity plan to patient, family, or caregiver

Your experience.

• Bachelorâ™s degree or higher from a Physical Therapy program, required


• Current MT Physical Therapist license, required


• Current BLS certification, required


• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team, required


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, required
