The Board of Trustees of Caron Treatment Centers (Caron) has partnered with WittKieffer to seek an inspirational and innovative leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This CEO will lead an internationally recognized, nonprofit healthcare organization that is dedicated to the research, prevention and treatment of substance use disorders, behavioral healthcare and addiction medicine. For more than 65 years, Caron has helped thousands of individuals struggling with substance use disorder and their families begin to manage this chronic, treatable disease. Headquartered in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, Caron has a historic legacy of patient-centered care that is their touchstone and their inspiration.
Caron provides a full continuum of care from pre-treatment services to post-treatment support. Caron's lifesaving, patient-centric behavioral healthcare and substance use disorder treatment programs are rooted in clinical expertise, 12-step program precepts, and evidence-based practices that include primary, relapse and longer-term in-patient treatment, as well as outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services. These services are provided for adolescents, young adults, adults and older adults, in addition to services for families affected by the disease of addiction. Spirituality has always been integral to Caron's treatment philosophy and can have a profound, positive impact on recovery. Caron cares for over 17,000 individuals and families annually supported by approximately 650 employees as an organization with $90 million in net revenue and $227 million in assets.
Caron's signature inpatient programs in Pennsylvania and Florida address the unique clinical, medical and psychological needs of certain populations who require and desire a specialized, concierge level of care. The signature Ocean Drive and Caron Renaissance programs are located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Other signature programs include Caron's Grand View program in Wernersville, its Older Adult programs located in Caron's state-of-the art medical centers on the Pennsylvania and Florida campuses, Caron Florida's Mental Health program and Caron Florida's Professionals program. Caron offers outpatient and intensive outpatient services at its Recovery Centers that are based in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Wyomissing, PA and through Arlington, Virginia-based Encore Outpatient Treatment Center, a joint venture with Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. Caron's Recovery Center located in New York City provides recovery and referral services and educational resources for people leaving treatment, those in recovery, family members and educators.

The new CEO will be responsible for leading all aspects of Caron, as the organization strives to be a regional and national leader for addiction treatment and recovery services. This individual will report to the Caron Board of Trustees, working closely with the Board and Caron's executive leadership team to align goals and execute effective strategies on behalf of the communities served by Caron. Caron's CEO will have a passion for and commitment to the highest quality of care for patients and their families and will embrace and personify the mission and core values of Caron. This executive leadership position requires a collaborative, dynamic, energetic, visible and seasoned professional with extensive healthcare experience, who appreciates the unique needs of one of the leading substances use disorder, recovery and behavioral healthcare treatment organizations in the country.
