Nemours will meet community health needs in Malvern, PA by expanding access to world-class care. We will be the sole tenant in the 46,000 square-foot, two-story building designed with best practices in quality, safety, efficiency and patient-focused pediatric care in mind.

Supported by our primary care locations and community partners, this new location is designed to ensure an efficient operation and positive patient and family experience for children with acute and/or chronic conditions.

Therapy Services will be located in the new building with other pediatric specialty care services.

Nemours is looking for highly qualified Athletic Trainers (ATC) to provide skilled care to athletes as well as connect Nemours Sports Medicine to the community. This is a full-time position. Highlights of the positions include:

• Responsible for organizing and implementing pre and post rehabilitation programs, injury prevention and skill enhancement programs
• Advocate youth sports safety and advancing the Nemours Children's Health mission within the community as a member of the Nemours Sports Medicine team.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care services within safety and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborative with the Department of Orthopedics and Therapy Services as well as other hospital wide departments in triaging patients to appropriate care levels.
• Responsible in providing sideline coverage for a variety of youth sports (soccer, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, football). Coverage will be primarily at the Chase Fieldhouse but additionally at sports complexes within the Delaware Valley.

Requirements:

Must have BOC ATC Certification and be eligible for Pennsylvania and Delaware State Athletic Training Licensure

List required licensures and/or certifications here and provide specifics:

1. Must hold a PA and Delaware license
2. BLS certification Basic Life Support (within 6 months of date of hire) and must be maintained for duration of employment
