Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesCHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a BC/BE PM&R Physician that is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to care.
Opportunity Details:
- Manage patients in an inpatient rehab unit, functioning as rehabilitation team leader. Dual-management model with Hospitalists co-managing all patients. Average census of 8-12 patients/physiatrist.
- No in-house weekend calls (Inpatient Hospitalist coverage on the weekends, physiatrists on home call for rehab related issues)
- Participation in education and mentorship of CUSOM medical students
- Opportunity for growth to add Outpatient clinics in the continuum of care in Brain Injury, SCI, Amputation, and Stroke as well as spasticity management (chemo denervation, ITB pump refills), per provider interest. EMG available in clinic with robust referral volume if interested
- Large Primary care, Ortho, Spine surgery partner base for inpatient and outpatient referrals
