NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, Fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest and/or fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
The successful candidate will join a thriving private practice that already employs a Sports Medicine Pediatrician and has 1,100 square feet of in-suite physical therapy space. The practice provides an environment that balances clinical autonomy with a collaborative team approach. This role is designed for a surgeon who wishes to build a robust pediatric sports practice in one of the fastest growing areas on the East Coast.

Our office has an in-suite hospital grade imaging system for all your needs, including dynamic digital radiography. Additionally, the practice owns a Smart-C mini C-arm for on-field imaging, if the candidate wishes to provide such care. Private practice doesn’t mean giving up caring for those on who cannot afford private insurance; we believe in caring for our community and NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics accepts all public insurance plans.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care for pediatric and adolescent sports injuries; Opportunity (not mandatory) to take call in the general pediatric orthopaedic call rotation at Inova Children’s Hospital (Level I Trauma Center); Collaborate with our own physical therapists, athletic trainers, and with regional sports programs to expand the practice’s sports medicine footprint.
