Position Highlights • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages from Portland and surrounding communities. • Opportunity to perform screening colonoscopies • Ability to perform small office procedures (such as lacerations. wart removal, I&D, wedge resections) • Establish and manage your own patient panel with measurable quality-based data to support population health goals. • Participate in shared after-hours call supported by a nurse triage system. • Enjoy a strong team culture focused on quality, patient experience, and provider support. • Benefit from the backing of a large, integrated health system with robust clinical resources. • Opportunity to teach and mentor residents through the Family Medicine Residency Program at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. • Visa sponsorship available for J1 and H1B candidates.
Ideal Candidate • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. • Passion for rural health, community engagement, and long-term patient relationships. • Interest in teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the development of future physicians. • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with the IU Health mission to make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation.
